Introducing Marni Telford...

...Guest Designer for December!Marni

My name is Marni Telford and I have been scrapping now for about 5 years. I am a primary school teacher but love to scrapbook in my down time from school stuff. I am married to the love of my life and we have 2 dogs and one fish...no children yet but it's on the cards...soon I hope :)  I was totally inspired by the pack I got from Scrapware and could not wait to start creating....the miniatures were especially inspiring, they are just so cute and easy to work with. I also love the colour of the Scrapware chipboard as I'm really impatient and don't want to paint my chipboard cause then I have to wait for it to dry so I usually use it raw.  The colour of the raw chipboard often ties my layouts together and tones them down as I tend to create layouts with such bright colours.

Perfect Day - I created this layout about an afternoon we spent at the park with my nephew. After I chose my photos, I knew I wanted to create a poppet type layout and the clouds went perfectly with the paper and it all kind of fell together from there....don't you just love it when that happens.
Perfect Day
Gotcha - This LO was all about the colour!!!! The chipboard worked well to add a little bit of bulk and interest to the layout. When I added the orange flower to the LO, I knew it needed something else.  I really didn't want to sew a stem, and after looking through the bag of goodies I recieved, I discovered these flourishes and they were just perfect.

Gotcha
