New stuff, old stuff, LOTS of stuff!

I've been chippy mad the last week, getting into all the yummy goodness that arrived in my mail box (thanks Ange!!) and also digging through my existing Scrapware stash for my all time favorites.

First up, some newbies, the leaves are adorable don't you think!? I've embossed them with green embossing powder here, and used them as a border for the photo - I also think they'd look fabulous poking out from behind flowers :)

And are you wondering about the size?? This LO had asctually been mounted on a new Scrapware stand! It has a fold out piece at the back, perfect for creating little scrappy masterpieces for around your home.

Next, some new very boy cogs...painted and doodled...

Onto a cutie-patooie monkey and grass...painted and clear embossed...

And finally, using "Laugh" from a new word trio (comes also with "Believe" and "Dream"), along with a few photo anchors...painted, then clear embossed using Versa Marks "Dazzle" to give shimmer...

Phew - hope you like!! Thanks for stopping by :)

Don't you love holidays??

I know I do!! So much so that I took about 1000 photo's in 5 days when we went camping with my brothers family this past week. We had a fabulous time, and I have so many ideas for LO's I can't wait to get stuck in!

But it does post the question on how to capture the event without ending up with a cluttered page....or 5 albums ;)

I love the Twinchie Overlays, and think they are perfect for showcasing a large amount of photo's. Here I've used one of the new overlay's to showcase 14 photo's of our holiday...

Photobucket

I cut certain sections of the overlay out to add interest, creating a larger rectangle piece along with open pieces towards the outside. I also used the large center square as the title block, and a few of the smaller squares for mounting photo's around the edges.

I've used Steelfish lowercase letters...

The clouds & sun from the Sunshine sheet...

And a small Sailboat....

I've painted all of these & clear embossed them - I saw Georgia do the clear embossing ages ago and ever since I've not been able to leave a chippie un-embossed, it really makes the colors pop don't you think? The yellow paint I had was a bit wishy washy, but adding the clear embossing layer makes it look bright & vibrant - plus it doesn't take forever to dry like other gloss finishes.
Thanks so much for dropping by - hope you like!

Too adorable!!!

This tree is one of my fav's it's so so cute!!

I've used Zig Writers to color it it, then brushed over with a 1 part white paint, 3 parts water mix, wiping off the excess so as to mute the colors a bit and get rid of most of the lines the markers leave. Covered it in Dimensional Magic & sprinkled it with glitter.

The letters are Antique (of course! lol) and Teen, which I've inked, doodled, and used one (the large 'U') negative also.

Hope you like!

I've used some Alison Ellis embossing glitter here, which works beautifully on Scrapware chippies.
Ok phew, thanks for stopping by! Hope you have as much fun with these new chippies as I did :D
