[the family tree]

I just love Scrapware's Tree Trunk.  Its open branches allow you to create as many or as few leaves to fill its canopy.  In this project, I have showcased a few of my favourite family photos by trimming them into a large leaf shape.  I have cut additional leaves from coordinating patterned paper - these leaves have been folded in half, inked in brown and mounted on foam tape to add dimension.

One of Scrapware's Mini Birds is nestled in the tree trunk.

To create the patterned background, simply use scraps of patterned paper cut to 1/2" widths and layer upon a neutral cardstock.  Enjoy.
