Animal Fever

It seems to be the craze this season - animals. DSC_3246 Giraffes, crocodiles, elephants, monkeys .... not only are they tamed, they look super adorable on scrapbooking projects. It didn't matter if their original counterparts are deemed ferocious or wild, they all take on a very different personality when they appear on our projects. I have made some cards that are really suited for children for their birthdays or as party invitations.

I wanted to make it really fun and funky for the kids. Just like they can colour a cloud purple, I have painted the elephant orange with green ears. I have also added kinder glitz to its ears, and then gently lifted and bent it so it's got Dumbo's ears! Dimensional magic was applied to the entire elephant to add gloss.

As for the invitation card, I was inspired by Elton John's oldie but goodie - Crocodile Rock. And in true Elton John style, this crocodile wears a funky green and orange spikes. I used some Magic Mesh on its back to resemble its scales. This croc is also generously glamourised by dimensional magic. Is he not the friendliest croc in the neighbourhood?

Zoo Animals (CH 35) come in a pack of 6 animals - crocodile, elephant, hippo, giraffe, monkey and lion. Hope you enjoy them.
