More trees to share

Hi all Bridgette here again
I hope you have all had a great scrappy week and have been inspired by the scrapware girls, i know i have :)
Any way i am here to show off some more trees for you, I dont know about you but trees are one of my favourite chipboard shapes, they add a touch of whimsy and fun to pages
My first page i have for you today is birthday cuddles for me, this photo was taken on my 31st birthday, i have had a few more birthdays since then SIGH!! seems this happens every year LOL
Isnt it funny how when we were kids we counted down the days until we turned a certain age, then as we get older we wish to stop ageing and dont really look forward to birthdays, or if you are like me you kind of forget how old you will be turning next (giggle)
This birthday was very exciting for me because my hubby and girls bought me a solid gold belcher necklace which is gorgeous so yah for me !!
Any way enough birthday talk, back to scrapping!!

This page is showing off the awesome AbCH175Abstract Tree Medium
i have used umber ink for the branches and simply glued on buttons to add texture and colour.
i have also used CH191Branches Large to complete my page , i have kept this chipboard raw but added a bit of ink around the out side edge.

My next page is called Winter Princess, my Daughter Mollie used to love dressing up but this day she was told she needed to wear a jumper if she was to dress up as it was freezing, hence the title winter princess ;)
I have used a few scrapware pieces on this page ;)

The tree NC02Stylized Trees Large was covered in old book paper I scrunched it up, opened it out again and rubbed green ink lightly over the top, then i used light brown ink and did the same thing. i have then used a bit of shimmer pearls and lightly rubbed all over the top to give my tree a pretty shimmer

For branches CH191Branches Large and frame i got a credit card tipped it into the gesso then spread the gesso thinly over the top to give them a french provincial look, I then spritzed with Walnut Glimmermist to give them an aged affect
The bird CH329Swallow has been covered in patterened paper and then inked around the edges.

Well that completes our tree week
thankyou for visiting and i hope you have been inspired to get out your scrapware chipboard and create away.

Dont forget to show off your pages in the scrapware gallery
i look forward to seeing you there
Bridgette
