For the Boys..

Hi, its Gina here to start off a new week with some fabulous inspiration from the Scrapware DT!
I'll kick off with this piece I created, which could be framed or made into a wall hanging for a little boys room. With two daughters, I don't often get a chance to do any scrapping with a male theme, so this was a nice change...

I've used a WT09Live/Laugh/Love piece for the title and a few cute MI12Mini Stars. These have all been inked in blue or green and slightly aged by touching up the edges with Versacolor Pinecone ink. I've also stuck some little gold findings onto the stars to make them more of a feature

Next up is this very sweet layout from Renee!

Renee has used: CH303 Funky Robots Large, JB33 Kapow Journal Bits and CH 263 Think Pink Sheet

Renee says "for the robots I have mainly inked them with a few different shades and used a brown American Crafts slick writer, I also have added some vintage glitter glassing, cuttlebugging and some small watch parts to make them a tad bit vintagy!"

The Think from the think pink sheet (not boyish I know!) is coloured in with American crafts slick writer too. I glimmer misted the corrugated letters and also used your masking technique with them too!

The cog window has been painted with Tim Holtz crackle paint and then inked over with stazon and vintage glitterised

Continuing on with the robot theme, Georgia has this fabulous birthday card to share..

Georgia has used funky robots small ch304 and postage frames ch327. She has coloured the robot black using a marker, embossed the star and hands / feet with red embossing powder (using a versa mark pen) and then embossed the whole thing with clear embossing powder. The frame is embossed with the red embossing powder

..and Kim has this very cool layout to share!

Kim says "Addison my three year old is so into TOY STORY at the moment and loves to zoom around with his imaginary wings. I thought the little space shapes from the CH20 Space set was prefect to use to tell the story. I wanted to make the rocket the star so I first inked it fairly heavily around the edge in black ink then randomly embossed it with red embossing powder. I added star dust stickles around the edge to really make it pop. I also added a bling flourish to represent the fire coming out of the engine. For the other two pieces I again heavily inked the edges in black ink then added the star dust stickles around the edge."

..and last but not least, here's Taryn's bright and fun layout!

Taryn has used: AZ03 Impact Lowercase alphas, CH318 Retro Frames Small, CH01 Scalloped Plaques and
MI07 Mini Crowns

WOW!..thanks so much ladies for making my first blog post for Scrapware so much fun to do..and I hope you're all feeling inspired to scrap the boy in your life too! Don't forget to share your creations in the Scrapware Gallery..we can't wait to see them :)
