Christmas Cards

Christmas is again fast approaching and if you are anything like me you will be frantically making Christmas cards. Now I don't make cards for everyone, just the special people in my life who I know will enjoy and appreciate them.

The card I made for this post was a lot of fun to do cause I got to play with my Scrapware chippie :) I used the small bauble frames (CS60) which worked really well on my card.
The bauble frame was painted white and when dry covered in stardust glitter. A piece of transparency was attached to the inside of the frame and attached to the actual bauble with foam squares. The background bauble I covered in Webster's paper and used a rub on sentiment. Finished it off with a bow, snowflake stickers and the mini tree (CH181).

Natalie May has also been busy, and has whipped up some lovely cards:

For this card, she used LN03 Whimsical Trees. The trees were given a coat of green embossing powder then a glittery gold embossing powder over the top.

For this card, a Fancy Bauble (CS13) and acetate were used to get this effect. The acetate was cut to be the same size as the baubles and sandwiched some superfine glitter between each sheet and the adhered it to the back of the bauble.  Just gorgeous!
Nat has used the Fancy Baubles again for this card, but this time used a fine glitter black embossing powder to get this gorgeous effect.

And finally for this simple card, Nat has used the Whimsical Trees (LN03).  The trees were inked in chalk inks then given a coat of Dimensional Magic to get that nice glossy effect. Instead of using the little chipboard stars, she filled the gaps with glitter!

Check out the product section here for more great chipboard ideas to use on your Christmas cards.
Happy scrappin and remember "Scrapware rocks". :)

Hugs,
Hetty xx
