Tree's

Hi all it's me Bridgette, I am super excited to be doing my very first blog entry for Scrapware. I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are preparing yourself for the week ahead. This week the girls and I are showing off the fabulous tree designs. I was so excited when I heard it was my turn to scrap trees, yah I looove trees. Scrapware have the most gorgeous tree designs go and check them out here.

My page Cousins is a happy bright page showcasing my children's cousins. This photo was taken a couple of years ago and funny enough the birthday boy was having a nap at the time so he missed out oopps!! I love the way the kids are all sitting up on the slippery dip with their faces painted and peeling off! It goes to show what a fun day they have had.

The trees in the right hand corner have been covered in patterned paper,i have then outlined with a marker, then inked around the edge using a walnut colour to show them off a little better!
How sweet is that miniature bird sitting up high in the tree.
My clouds have been covered in Gesso to give them some texture and then painted white.
I have then painted my antique letters a bright orange, then outlined around the edge so that they also stand out from the white painted back ground.

These are the products i have used

AZ07 Antique Uppercase
MI17 Mini Birds Standing (10 sheets)
KD02 KDD - Clouds
NC02 Stylized Trees Large

Wowee Look at what the very Clever Natalie Wolfe has designed for us this week, I just love what she has done, her trees look stunning and look at all of her detail. Gosh she is talented.

To do the tree, I have first painted it with cream acrylic paint then stamped and clear embossed a script stamp. I have then lightly applied black JW Dazzle Wax over the embossing to highlight the design. The other chipboard pieces have been painted and finished with the wax for a subtle but sparkly effect.
CH141 Love Fern Medium
CH402 Love Fern Mini (new product)
LB20 Flourish Corners
AZ08 Antique LC Alpha
LB17 Hinges
CH400 Twinchies (new product)

Hope you like it!

Next we have the the wonderful Georgia showing off some more yummy trees. I love her page it is just so pretty, I also heart the way she has placed her trees over the top of her photo and next to each other, and look at all the little bits and pieces she has used it all works so beautifully.
The stylized trees are proving to be very popular this week don't you think?? There are so many ways in which you can decorate them to make them unique.
Georgia has painted her trees and then outlined using a marker.

Georgia has used
large (NC02)stylized tree
small (NC03)stylized trees
6" vine branch CH299

Thanks for sharing Georgia

Lucky last today we have the lovely Natalie May showing us a variety of Trees, I love the way she has decorated each tree differently. Her cards are so bright, I am sure she will make someone very happy when they receive one!

Take it away Natalie...
So this week I decided to make some cards using the trees from the NC03 Stylized Trees Small shape sheet!

For this card I covered one of the trees from the NC03 Stylized Trees Small Shape Sheet in patterned paper and applied Dimensional Magic.

On this tree from the same shape sheet, I used texta for the main colour but then gave a light coat of mist for some sparkle!

Finally for this card, the trees were both inked in ColourBox chalk ink then I ran them through the Cuttlebug!

Thanks for sharing your awesome creations girls xx

So that is all today I will be back soon to show off some more tree ideas
Thanks for visiting
