Just a short post today...
Here is a quick project that I did yesterday afternoon after being inspired by this cover
here is something to hang up at my door....
really simple a 1inch circle punch some graduating colours of cardstock, start at the top working in straight lines across the inside chipboard rectangle of a Nadine Frame.
start with the dark colours and work down to white at the horizon line....
glitter the ghost and letters. I layered glimmermist and glitter and alison ellis hotset powder.
for the Frame I painted it with black paint and then used a combination of gold, silver and brass rub and buff. Then I raised the frame on foam tape so it stood higher than the picture..
Still some little things like stars to add but I need to get some from my trusty mate Ange...Hhehehe
now on to this...
The top frame I painted black and then run it through the cuttlebug using a tim holtz embossing folder and then rubbed and buffed it within an inch of it's life. But I so love the finished result it looks metallic and old like it has been in some witches cupboard and all it needs a spell book or in my case a mini album
I love this little box it is like a little treasure box...These are Scrapwares new gift boxes, they are so easy to put together and decorate and are going to look fantastic on my table at christmas.
This I grant you is a little OTT, but I couldn't stop, in the words of Natalie it got the royal 'Tim Holtz'ing.
I made the little mini album with scraps of Kraft, ink and stamps and misting...well that is it from me today, I'll see you on thursday for a different take on the halloween season.
cheers naomi x
