Miniature week

Good morning Scrapware followers, this week we introduce the smallest Scrapware shapes to you, they are just the sweetest little things ever and so versatile you can do so much with them as you will see in the next couple of pages

First up is the very clever Taryn, i just love her Layout she has used my three favourite colours

For all the chipboard, Taryn  first inked them, then used red embossing powder (patchy) over the top. she then added a little stickles to the dragon flies.
For the frame, she  mounted the photo on the chipboard centre, and sanded the edges.

Don't you just love her banner with the mini Dragon flies (super Cute )
Thanks Taryn

Next we have Miss Scrapware Diva Gilly, With her gorgeous and colourful page

This is what Gilly has to say

To make the apron I cut 3 ovals, glued lace around the edges than stuck 2 of the ovals behind the one in the middle, then I cut them all straight at the top, I then added the top of the apron by cutting a rectangle to size rounding the corners at the top then adding lace around the edges And to finish off I added lots of mini flowers and pearls.
I used: MI16 Mini Sakura Flowers
LB03 Lucie Torso Small
Look at the miniature flowers how divine are they ??

Thanks Gilly

I had so much fun with My page
This photo is of me chowing down on a big fat piece of cake LOL Yumm cake ! I love chocolate and anything that has chocolate in the ingredients.  When i am old and grey and have no memory what so ever i will check out this page and remember that i looooved chocolate !!
I have painted the grass in purple then inked in Umber, I have used purple for grass (yeah weird hey) and totally placed in a weird spot but who says that grass should only be green and placed on the bottom half of your page ?????
I have sewn my impact alphas into place, these letters are great to sew on as the card is a little softer, it's much easier for your needle to pass through .
The tiny dragon flies were painted white, one has been inked in umber and placed on a button, the other has splashes of purple paint on him, how sweet are these dragonflies
And lastly I have used  the house from the house scene, I have kept it raw but have sewn him into place . When sewing on chipboard place a tiny bit of double sided tape either end of where you are going to sew, try not to sew through the tape as it makes your needle sticky and much harder to sew.
I did not use the foot pedal when sewing through the chipboard, as you can see i also had to sew through ribbon and denim and the machine struggled a bit ,so instead i simply turned the dial slowly and guided the chipboard and paper through .
