For our last post of the year I thought I would share a couple of latest pieces with you ... a layout and a card. Firstly I have layout I have done with this gorgeous photo of a friend's little boy Xavier. How could I resist scrapping this photo!
For this layout I have used two of the BD17 Sun Border to create the full sunburst bordering the bottom of the photo. Ihave used distress inks to colour all of the chipboard on this layout, with distress stickles on the sunburst and the alphas. Who says a boys layout can't have a little glitter! I have also used the following Scrapware products:
This card uses the ATC Flourish Frame (LB08) which is the perfect size for card fronts, along with the Mini Hearts (MI04). Both chipboard pieces have been painted with the Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze (Cowboy). This is such a quick and very effective way to colour chipboard! Just paint the glaze straight on and voila, you end up with a gorgeous shimmery finish with very little effort!
