Scrapware Overlays

I love the versatillity of an overlay and I have had a great deal of fun using the Minichies, Inchies and Twinchies in the past. The Minchies make super interesting wearable pieces and are small enough to be posted as an art swap. Our True Inchies are perfect for a wall hanging and one of my favorite mixed media substrates. In fact I am currently teaching a Vintage Inchie frame (True Inchie B CH221) at a local scrapbook store here in Sydney. The larger Twinchie overlay can be used as an abstract photo frame...I will be posting my version tomorrow...so watch this space!

The Design Team created the following inspirational pieces...
Our lovely boss lady Ange Connolly used the following items to create her charming piece:
CH227 Twinchie Overlay D, CH326 Gate (part of), CH175 Med Abstract Tree, BD05 Scalloped Border, CH347 Wearable Frames 2, CH324 Antique Mini Frames, CH329 Swallows, CH345 Petite 3D Butterflies & a mini dragonfly and heart

Gillian Lester has a wonderful flair for use of textiles and incorporated the following products to complete this page starring the cutie pie "Milly Moo".
CH227 Twinchie Overlay D and CH324 Antique Mini Frames, Gilly also used Vintage glass glitter on the little oval frames to give them more "bling bling"

Lisa Warren brings beauty to simplicity by combining the following products...KD10 KDD Plant Frame 6"CH329 Swallows, WT08 "faith/hope/love" word trio. I adore the colour combination of red and blue!

It looks like Natalie has stamped over the frame with a versamark pad to give a slight pattern. The following items were used to create this sweet piece:
True Inchie B (CH221), Live/Laugh/Love word trio (W209) & Mini Heart

art gives you wings, so wing it
