Back to school

Good Morning!
Back to school week here on the Scrapware blog.
Need a cup of tea and some tissues?
Like a lot of mums out there I am sending my youngest daughter Charlotte off to school for the very first time today.
I have mixed feelings  about this though! On the one hand - it's only kindy and she is so very ready.
But on the other hand, Charlie is my baby girl, off to the big school with tiny size 3 uniforms, blonde pigtails and a massive school backpack.
I am sure she will love it and demand to go everyday of the week instead of the allocated 5 day fortnight!

If you are a first time mummy having taken your precious little angel off to "big" school, grab a coffee, sit back and  enjoy some blog surfing!


First up I have created a school themed LO featuring my eldest daughter and her teacher from last 2010.
This teacher was the BEST teacher! She was so very good with the kids and I found it hard to say goodbye as well!

The funky Scrapware I have used on this LO is:

Isn't she gorgeous? I think so! Wise old Diva owl was a must on a school themed LO.
I have simply given her a coat of dimensional magic and a light spray of Maya mist before sticking my journaling letters down..

All the other Scrapware elements such as these LC Impact letters I have gone to town with a black sharpie on! Letting them dry in between  I gave them 3 coats :)

Hope this has inspired you to create some school theme pages, using some funky Scrapware elements!
You could even scrap about how you feel seeing your not so little person off to school on there first day.
